One good thing happened today. I got my Screaming Trees cd. Great band, I reccomend them to anyone. Now I need to decide which cd to get next, perhaps you can help me: Pearl Jam 'Yield', Pearl Jam 'Vitalogy', Husker Du 'Zen Arcade', Rites of Spring, Urge Overkill 'Americruiser/Jesus Urge Superstar', Melvins 'Stoner Witch', Melvins 'Bullhead'. Those are my options, any help would be appreciated.
Anyways, another boring day in school. Humdrum and all that. I wrote a verse to a song, goes a little something like this:
'Take this crown of thorns
That I so seldom wear
Take the cross from my back
The burden's too much to bear
And shall we destroy
Those who would try and bleed us?
If you're a virgin Mary
Well then I'm a punk rock Jesus'
I wrote a few riffs for it, doesn't sound to bad. If i get this done, my ep will have 10 songs on it, making it an lp I guess. Anyways, been listening to quite a bit of the Melvins lately. 'Houdini' is an amazing album, great metal record. It's not like most of the metal shit, the lyrics are rather amusing and make little sense and they play extremely SLOW. Anywho, I'm out for now.
